Registered Nurse (RN) - Peritoneal Dialysis

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assist in training patients to perform peritoneal dialysis independently at home.
• Manage current patients who perform peritoneal dialysis at home.
• Position hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Occasional home visits to patients are required.
• Must have own vehicle with current insurance and a clean driving record for home visits.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of current renal nursing experience (highest required years of experience).
• Baxter AMIA Peritoneal Cycler experience is strongly preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Must hold a valid Massachusetts RN license at the time of profile submission.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.

Additional Requirements

• Permanent address must be included in the profile (travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered).
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Work history, skills checklist (updated within the last year), and one supervisory signed reference (from within the past two years) must be provided.
• Scheduling requests must be made at submission; no scheduling changes will be approved after offer.
