Registered Nurse - Mental Health

Location

Trenton, New Jersey

Job Details

Inpatient Mental Health RN with experience in MST (Mobile Support Team)
Floating between Mental Health unit and MST units as needed
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
No block scheduling offered
Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
Contract length: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
CPI certification
BLS certification
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification

Additional Requirements

Background check and drug screening
Verification of education, license, and references
Immunizations and health screenings including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB screening, and physical exam
Completion of competency exams and mandatory annual training
Compliance with code of ethics and mandatory education acknowledgements
