Respiratory Therapist

Location: Tacoma, Washington
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work in a 130-bed facility with 8 surgery suites, a 6-bed ICU, and a 24/7 Emergency Department.
Patient population includes all age groups, from babies to adults.
Requires rotating weekends and possible floating to a nearby facility (approximately 2.5 miles away).
Start date is firm.
Orientation period: 1 day.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Washington
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Vent management

Additional Information

Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
Floating may be required to a nearby hospital if needed.
Must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages.
Compliance with various health and safety requirements including immunizations, drug screening, background checks, and annual competencies.
