RN Telemetry I

Overview

• Float pool Med/Surg Tele RN role.
• Must be willing to float between 8 different units.
• Schedule includes days, evenings, and nights with rotating weekends.
• 36 hours per week.

Unit / Float Scope

• Float throughout the hospital to Med/Surg Tele areas, including Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow.
• Patient population includes ED border patients, medication nurse coverage in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients.
• Unit bed count: 371.
• Census ranges from 8 to 41 beds across units.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
• 2 years or more of total travel experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience is preferred for the telemetry/cardiac monitoring work.

Schedule

• Days/evenings rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract.
• EOW.
