Job Description
- Urgent need for a Manager of Case Management
- Work hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (5x8 schedule)
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant management/supervision experience
- Acute hospital experience required
Required Credentials & Compliance for Onboarding
Professional Credentials
- License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing licenses.
- Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city & state details.
- References: Two recent references required, at least one must be a supervisor or above in the relevant skillset.
- Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
- Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days prior to start date and updated if there is a break >6 months. Includes county and international searches if applicable.
- Massachusetts CORI Check: Must be run within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
- Education Verification: Verified through background check company, confirming highest level of education achieved.
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, listing addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
- National Sex Offender Check: Run within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- Exclusion Checks: Run within 30 days of start and annually, including OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
Personal Health History & Vaccinations
- Fit Test: N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually. Must be completed on the official MGB form. No religious exemptions.
- MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
- Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray: If positive TB test, documentation of chest x-ray showing no active TB is required.
- Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred but optional. Record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination.
- Tdap: Preferred, vaccine within 10 years and updated upon expiration.
Additional Requirements
- MGB Badge Photo: Color photo taken within past 6 months, plain background, no filters or eyeglasses, symmetrical headshot.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
- Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission.
Summary
This position is ideal for an experienced RN Case Manager with strong leadership skills and acute hospital experience, ready to manage case management operations on a full-time weekday schedule. Compliance with extensive credentialing, health, and background requirements is mandatory prior to onboarding.
