Travel RN ICU Job Opportunity

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Job Details

• Specialty: RN ICU (Cardiovascular ICU experience preferred)
• Schedule: 36 or 48-hour shifts available
• Every other weekend required
• Easter holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Completion of required Ascension-specific competencies and certifications, including:

  • Ascension Color Vision test
  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
  • NIH Certification
  • Ascension EKG Exam
  • Ascension Cerner Test-Out
• Health and immunization requirements:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within 1 year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Fit Test (annual)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start
• Drug Screening: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Background and verification:

  • Criminal background check including SSN trace, OIG search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to start)
  • Employment verification for past 7 years
  • Education verification within 90 days prior to start
  • Professional references (at least two)
• Other onboarding requirements:

  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and valid)
  • Ascension-specific onboarding education and attestations
  • Ascension skills checklist (clinical specialty-specific, updated annually)
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen
  • Ascension Profile (resume)
