Hemodialysis Registered Nurse
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 06:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Job Description
- Provide hemodialysis treatments to pediatric and adult patients in a hospital-based dialysis unit, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Treatments may be performed in the dialysis unit or at the patient’s bedside.
- Collaborate closely with dialysis technicians to ensure safe and efficient dialysis care.
- Deliver age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to help patients attain and maintain optimal health.
- Demonstrate technical skills and clear communication to promote safe practice and positive patient outcomes.
- On-call availability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience, with dialysis experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
