Job Opportunity: RN Critical Care (LTA)
Location: Inglewood, California
Specialty: Registered Nurse - Critical Care (ICU)
Contract Length: Approximately 26 weeks
Job Description
- Deliver safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in the ICU.
- Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
- Be accountable for assigned patients’ care and communicate clinical changes to physicians, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results.
- Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current and valid California RN license.
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- Minimum 1 year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital critical care setting.
Onboarding & Credentialing Requirements
The following credentials and verifications are required prior to or at onboarding:
Licenses & Certifications
- RN License (Nursys verification)
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
- ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) training
- COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses + booster or declination)
- Influenza Vaccine (or declination during flu season)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
- MMR vaccination or immunity proof (declinations accepted)
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof (declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccination or immunity proof (declination form accepted)
Testing & Exams
- Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Skills Checklist (submission required)
Health & Safety
- Annual TB Test and TB Questionnaire
- Fit Test (annual respirator fit test)
- Physical/Health Statement (clear to work, completed annually or within 60 days of start)
- Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel including THC saliva test for California)
Background & Compliance
- National Criminal Background Check (within 1 year)
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
- Prime OIG verification
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)

- Prime Education Verification
- Prime Agency Attestation (completed last after all credentials uploaded)
- Prime Orientation Packet (includes Essentials form and post-test)

- Some immunization declinations are accepted only for this facility.
