Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I

Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts
Start Date: January 17


Job Description

  • Role: RN Telemetry / Medsurg
  • Must be able to float to other units as needed
  • Weekend availability required
  • Preferred availability to work full schedule through end of January and first week of February
  • Per Diem option available

Compliance & Credential Requirements

    • Varicella (proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer)
    • Hepatitis B (declinations not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
    • Tdap (declinations not accepted)
    • Negative TB test within one year of start date
    • If positive PPD, negative chest x-ray within 3 months required
  • Other Health Requirements:
    • Annual physical/health statement completed within 60 days of start, stating clearance to work
    • Fit test (annual respirator fit test) - may be required prior to start depending on location
  • Background & Screening:
    • National criminal background check within one year of start date (some state-specific exceptions)
    • Drug screen (minimum 10-panel including THC) within 60 days of start
  • Additional Professional Requirements:
    • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Skills Checklist
    • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts)
    • Prime OIG exclusion check
    • Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
    • Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
    • Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification)
    • Prime Orientation Packet (Essentials form and post-test)
    • Signed job description
    • Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport
  • References:
    • Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor
  • Resume:
    • Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history required at time of offer acceptance

  • Must be able to provide drug screen and background screen shortly after starting shift
  • Compliance items are strictly enforced and required for onboarding
  • Floating to other units and weekend work are mandatory components of the assignment
