Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry (Per Diem) - Days

Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts

Job Description

• Needed for strike coverage starting 2/19; ongoing need to be determined post-strike
• Must be able to float between units and work weekends
• Preference for candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February
• Position is per diem for 26 weeks

Required Qualifications

License

• Valid California RN license

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Exams and Testing (Must score 80% or higher)

• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening
• Prime Core Competencies Exam
• Prime Specialty Exam
• Prime Skills Checklist (does not expire on assignment)

Health and Immunizations

• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 vaccines plus booster or completed declination
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination required; declinations not accepted
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season; declinations not accepted
• TB Test: Within one year of start date
• Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity
• Tdap: Adult vaccination required; declinations not accepted
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (optional)
• Annual Physical/Health Statement stating clearance to work

Other Requirements

• Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
• Nursys license verification
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• Annual Respirator Fit Test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
• Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot)
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Job Description signed by employee
• Prime Education Verification (Diploma or transcripts accepted)
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test for CA locations) within 60 days of start
• Prime Resume and 2 References (including 1 from a manager or supervisor) required at time of offer acceptance

Additional Information

• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting
• Full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after start date
