MRI Technician

Overview

• Role: MRI Technician
• Location: Panama City, Florida
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Shift: Mon - Fri, 06:00 - 14:30
• Call: Required, rotating days during the week and every other weekend
• Holidays: Per unit need

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience.
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• License/Certificate Verification is required for submission.
• Ascension Skills Checklist is required for submission and must be completed within one year of start; updated annually for specialty.
• Driver's License required.

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
• Ascension Core Competencies must be completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years.
• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation must be completed.
• Ascension Badge Photo required.
• MMR: documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Fit Test required for all travelers.
• Hepatitis B: documentation of vaccination series completion or declination.
• Influenza Vaccine: exemptions/declinations accepted, but masking is required at all times.
• Health Statement: statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Driver's License/State ID must be valid and match address on file.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required.
• Varicella: documented proof of immunity or vaccination; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap must be valid within 10 years.
• Ascension Profile required for submission.
• Ascension 2 Professional References required for submission.
• Ascension Criminal Background Check Results required.
• Ascension EPLS required.
• Ascension Education Verification required.
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment required.
• Ascension Employment Verification required.
• Ascension 11 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start.

Optional / Preferred

• BLS is listed as optional for submission.
• License/Certificate Verification is listed as optional.
• Ascension Core Competencies is listed as optional for submission.
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding is optional.
• Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire is optional.
• Ascension Name Change Document is optional.
