Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during assigned night shifts.
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery in the Progressive Care Unit.

Shift & Hours

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be verifiable via Nursys).
• Minimum 3 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (AHA) required within 30 days of start.
• Skills checklist relevant to PCU, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible).
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.
• Background/name clearances will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.

• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Notes

• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours
• Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25x regular rate
• Call back pay at 1.3x regular rate
• On-call pay available
