Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: San Francisco, California

Job Overview

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Perform exams ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images. EKGs may be performed as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process portable X-Rays and transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs as required and transmit to Cardiologists.
• Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients professionally.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily (16 to 24 times).
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain.
• Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• California State License (Required; limited or pending licenses not accepted)
• Valid Driver’s License (copy not required)
• No non-compete agreements (must be confirmed in writing)
• COVID-19 status must be provided at time of presentation

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
