• Facility Float Clause: Emergency Only
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Work 75% of the holidays during the contract period
• Years of Experience Required: 1.5+ years
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule Accommodation: Depends on the days blocked
• Local Candidates Accepted: No locals within 50 miles
• Pending License Accepted: Yes
• RTO Restrictions: Every other holiday

Certifications Required

• BLS: Basic Life Support
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIHSS: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
• FLU Vaccine: Required
• EPIC: Experience with EPIC system preferred

Special Requirements

• No recent Atrium employees (including PRN and internal temp) within the past year
• No recent return travelers that ever lived local

Patient Ratios

• MS/Tele: 5-6 patients per nurse

• Documentation Required:

  • North Carolina Driver's License with address greater than 50 miles from the facility
  • Residency Declaration Form if using a compact license that is not NC
  • Various certifications as listed above
  • Background check and education verification
  • Health documents including TB questionnaire, vaccination records, and physical exam
