Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Columbia, South Carolina
• Based in Cath Lab
• Rotating day shifts, 4x10 hours: 7:00–17:30 and 9:30–20:00
• Stays until procedures are complete
• Daily caseload is about 20–25 cases
• On-call required: one weekend every 7 weeks, plus one call shift and one evening shift every week
• Holidays as needed
• First-timers accepted
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
• 60-mile radius rule applies
• Block scheduling requires manager approval
• May be called off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT or RCIS, registered or in process
• South Carolina license
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by the agency
• SC license verification required
• Education verification required
• 2 clinical references
• Last 3 clinical employers verified through a 3rd party vendor
• South Carolina state exclusion list required
• Background check required
• E-Verify required
• HHS/OIG required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required
• Physical exam required
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Rubeola immunity or 2 vaccines
• Mumps immunity or 2 vaccines
• Rubella immunity or 2 vaccines
• Varicella immunity or 2 vaccines
• Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• RespSafety clearance
• Photo for badge
• Driver’s license or state ID
• Social Security card

• Job description signed prior to start
• Orientation modules
• Confidentiality and security agreement

Preferred

• EPIC charting familiarity
• COVID vaccination records are highly preferred
• Diploma or transcripts are highly preferred
• BLS certification copy requested
• All certifications the traveler possesses should be provided

Additional Notes

• Scrub color: Cath Lab hospital-issued scrubs
• Parking is available with no fee
• Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams
• Contract length: 13 weeks
