Job Overview

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ECMO ICU experience within the last year
2 years of ECMO ICU experience
Cardio Help experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Pediatrics CVICU experience
Must be able to manage VA ECMO and VV ECMO patients
Accepts first-time travelers
Float to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU

Required Certifications

BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Schedule Requirements

Every 3rd weekend required

Role Details

Works as a pump specialist for patients on ECMO for cardiac or non-cardiac reasons
If there are no ECMO patients, works in the ICU as a bedside nurse caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients based on unit need
