Job Overview

• Location: Paramus, New Jersey
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: Every other weekend required; willing to float to other units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience
• BLS required to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech EMR experience

Compliance and Onboarding

• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Two references required: one supervisory reference from within the last 12 months and one additional professional reference from within the last 3 years
• Employment verification for the last 7 years is required
• Current resume must include the last 7 years of employment and explain gaps greater than 30 days
• Background check, education verification, and license verification are required before start
• Physical exam or statement of health required within 72 hours of signing contract
• Fit testing required within 72 hours of signing contract
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 72 hours of signing contract
• Proof of immunity or vaccination documentation required for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID-19, and seasonal flu
• Drug screening required within 72 hours of signing contract
• Core competency and facility-specific onboarding modules are required before start

Additional Notes

• Onsite testing is required for RN candidates, including medication and rhythm-related competency testing
• Candidates must complete annual competency and compliance updates to remain active on assignment
