Overview
- Travel/contract NICU RN role in Edmonds, Washington
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics experience
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Work Expectations
- Must float to Pediatrics and PICU
- Will be assigned newborns and infants only
- Must float to all 7 campuses listed in the source
Preferred
- EPIC charting experience
Scheduling
- Must schedule 5 days per week, with either Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Monday availability
- Guaranteed 2 shifts
Orientation and Pre-Start Requirements
- Virtual orientation modules take about 21 hours
- 2 unit orientation shifts are scheduled after virtual orientation, based on availability
- Must complete an orientation checklist before working
- Must complete WorkRamp modules before start
- Must complete a Pyxis access form before unit orientation
- Must complete a point-of-care training session before working
Health and Compliance
- COVID vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions only
- Fit mask clearance is required for travel starts
- Drug screening is required
- Physical exam is required within 1 year of start
- TB documentation is required
- Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella documentation are required
- Flu vaccination or declination is required during flu season
- Respirator safety clearance is required for travel starts
Additional Notes
- Returning employees may apply after a 6-month separation from Providence/Swedish facilities
- Travelers may not work at a Providence facility and accept another travel job at the same time
- Agency badge and badge photo are required
