Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Postoperative surgical population
- Ratio: 1:5
- Will float to like units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- DOU - Direct Observation Unit (1 year of experience)
- DOU - Direct Observation Unit experience within the last year
- Short Stay experience
- Experience with Epic
Patient Population / Clinical Focus
- Bedded outpatient surgical
- Total knee and hips
- ENT
- Chole
- Medical observation cases including syncope, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, generalized weakness, TIA, and dizziness
