CVPICU Travel Nurse

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • CVPICU (2 years of experience)
  • CVPICU experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of pediatric cardiac surgery experience

Experience Notes

  • Candidates with 1–2 years of pediatric cardiac surgery experience may be reviewed
  • First-time travelers are not accepted

Unit / Patient Care Details

  • Patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
  • Pediatric critical care cardiac ICU setting

Schedule Notes

  • 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
  • Day/night rotation is typically on a 6-week cadence, depending on unit need

Additional Considerations

  • Badge photo required within 72 hours of signing
  • Scrub color: any color or age-appropriate, kid-friendly T-shirt top
  • Parking is available at additional cost
