Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Olympia, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12, 19:00–07:30
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit: PCU/Step down Float RN
- Float scope includes ER boarded patients, tele, med surg, and other inpatient needs
- Nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity
- May include charge responsibilities on two very small units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge roles
- US clinical experience required; Canadian experience alone will not qualify
- ACLS
- BLS
- NURSYS verification required for RNs
- Washington State Patrol search required
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- Employment application required
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Skills checklist required for applicable unit
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask required
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Rubeola (Measles) immunity documentation
- Mumps immunity documentation
- Rubella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination record or declination
- RespSafety clearance required for travel starts
