Overview

Travel/Contract role in Battle Creek, Michigan
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Up to 26 weeks may be offered
Must be available for the first two weeks of the assignment
Will float to other Med Surg units
Works every other weekend
Holidays are required
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed or approved at this time

Unit

Medical, Surgical, Oncology Unit (C5)
37-bed unit
Cares for general medical diagnosis patients
Specializes in gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries
Staffing ratio on nights: 1:5–6
Ratios may flex to 8 patients, with RN paired with LPN for support

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

2 years Med/Surg experience

Additional Notes

Must be willing to work with a variety of staff, including RN, LPN, and Techs
Floating typically occurs about once per week, depending on need
