Registered Nurse (Oncology) - Travel/Contract

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Specialty: Oncology

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA certified, required based on unit/specialty
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)

Licensure

• Valid state nursing license verification required prior to start and upon expiration

Background and Verification

• Background check within 1 year of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• HHS/OIG clearance required
• Education verification (diploma, transcript, or 3rd party verification)
• State-specific checks including sex offender registry and other Missouri-specific verifications

Health and Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test (Fit Mask) within 1 year of start, must use 1870+ mask
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes; TB questionnaire if positive TB
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or signed declination)
• Drug screening: 9-panel urine drug screen within 3 months of start (marijuana not required)
• Seasonal vaccinations or declinations required for:

  • Flu (October - April)
  • COVID-19

Additional Requirements

• Annual competency exam
• Performance evaluations (most recent and annual)
• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including job description, parking policy, COVID-19 vaccination declaration, orientation checklist, and others as applicable

This position is a travel/contract role requiring oncology nursing experience and compliance with comprehensive credentialing, health, and safety standards.
