Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• No float required
• On-call one week per month
• Weekend on-call coverage: one weekend per month, from Friday 6:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
• Holiday coverage: 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Experience with Interventional Radiology and Special & Scrub Procedures required
• Equipment experience required: Fluoroscopy, Philips, Siemens, and Ultrasound
• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications & Licenses

• New Jersey state license required (can be obtained prior to start)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience with Special & Scrub Procedures

Additional Requirements

• Copy of current Driver's License required
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 3 months of start
• Unit-specific competency and pharmacology exams required before start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if past positive TB)
• 10-panel drug screen including marijuana within 3 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• COVID vaccination (1-2 doses) required; medical and religious exemptions allowed
• Review and acknowledgment of facility safety brochures, dress code, employee handbook, confidentiality agreements, and other facility-specific documents required
• Two professional references within 7 years required
• Work history verification required, including minimum 1 year prior to start date (New Jersey state mandate)

• Hospital provides scrubs
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission
• No prior travel experience required for this position
