Job Description

• Position: Invasive Cardiology / Cath Lab Technician
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, typically 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (subject to change during interview)
• Rotating days off
• On-Call: Yes, STEMI call 8-12 days per month including one weekend day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Block schedule accommodation: No
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
• Pending licenses not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• Driver’s license required for submission

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Mississippi
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (invasive Cardio/Cath Lab Tech) within the last year
• One completed travel assignment or 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech for first-time travelers

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no glasses glare, no hats/head coverings except religious, no piercings visible)
• Must submit all required documentation at time of submission; no documents accepted after offer presentation
• Compliance with facility-specific dress code (scrubs color-coded by role; no prints or embroidery; lab coats as specified)
• Completion of competency exams and annual updates as required
• Confidentiality acknowledgment must be signed prior to start

Notes

• Prior travel experience is required: candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment or have 3+ years of experience to be considered first-timers
• This is a short-term acute care, Level I trauma center environment
• Candidates must be prepared for STEMI call responsibilities and on-call duties
• No accommodation for block scheduling; weekend work as needed
