Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Job Requirements
Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
Licensure: Louisiana license must be in hand
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- Louisiana State License
Preferred Experience: Epic system experience preferred
Accepts: CRTs (Certified Respiratory Therapists)
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: None
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
- Maximum Return to Office (RTO): Strict 5-day max
Equipment & Skills
Experience with special equipment:
- Nitric Oxide therapy
- ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
- Bedside bronchoscopies
Ventilators used:
- Puritan Bennett 840 and 980
Bipap: Phillips V60
Transport Ventilators: Pneutron, Newport, Parapac
Appearance

Prior Travel Experience

This position is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 1 year of experience, holding the required certifications and Louisiana licensure, who are comfortable working every other weekend and holidays, and have experience with advanced respiratory equipment.
