Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greenville, Mississippi
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Shifts: 4 per contract
• Patient Ratio: 1:7
• Tele Float: Required as needed
• Scrubs: Any color allowed

Required Qualifications

• License: Mississippi RN state license or compact license
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st time travelers welcome)
• Electronic Health Record Experience: Meditech experience required

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within the last year, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Mississippi Department of Health fingerprint background screening within last 2 years (or Letter of Suitability) required prior to start
• Education verification (diploma or transcript) required
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start (chest x-ray within 5 years if positive TB test)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination with proof)
  • Varicella
• 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (instant tests acceptable, cannot be onsite)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required prior to start

Additional Notes

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required as applicable
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred for Emergency Department
• OSHA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission annual training required (proof or attestation)

This position is suitable for RNs with at least 1 year of experience, including those new to travel nursing. Night shift and weekend availability are required.
