Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 10:15 AM - 6:45 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: No weekends or holidays

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Specialty Experience:

  • ARDMS OBGYN and Fetal Echo experience or Fetal Echo certification required.
  • Experience with fetal monitoring without certification may be considered with proper documentation or recommendation.
• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 8 years based on specialty complexity and certifications required.

Required Certifications

• ARDMS OBGYN and/or Fetal Echo certification (or equivalent documented experience)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - AWHONN Intermediate may be required
• Tech Cert Verification - National (required within 30 days of start)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release (updated annually)
• 7-year Criminal Background Check (within 30 days of start)
• Education Verification (highest completed education)
• State License Verification (within 30 days of start)
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start
• Physical Exam (within 12 months of start) including physician statement of fitness
• Drug Testing (within 30 days of start) covering multiple panels
• Immunizations and Declinations as applicable:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • TB testing and questionnaire
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination or Declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (most recent) or declination

Additional Requirements

• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Two professional references within three years of start
• Skills checklist prior to start and updated annually as applicable

Work Environment & Notes

• No weekend or holiday shifts
• Two shifts per day with overlapping hours
• Facility requires strict compliance with background checks, immunizations, and certifications
• Annual updates required for some documents and certifications
