Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse
Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have scrub experience to be considered.
- Able to circulate and scrub in specialty areas including:
- Transplant (Liver and Kidney)
- Endovascular and vascular emergencies
- Neuro, Trauma, MVA, Gunshot, and stabbings
- Circulate hearts
- General surgery
- Pediatrics
- Microbiology
- Work hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift schedule: 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8:45 AM to 9:15 PM (two shifts) and 12:45 PM to 9:15 PM (two shifts)
- Call rotation: 1 night every third weekend
Required Experience
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

Licenses & Verifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license required (state license verification within 30 days of start)
- NURSYS Verification required within 30 days prior to start
- State-specific requirements: Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search (for tracking only)
Background & Health Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, county search, national criminal search, and other federal checks
- Education verification of highest completed education required (transcript acceptable if education verification not possible)
- Physical exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness without restrictions
- Drug testing within 30 days of start (specific drug panels required)
- Immunizations or declinations required for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, NICU, Maternity)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - positive titer, vaccines, or declination (declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, Maternity, NICU)
- Hepatitis B - positive titer, 3-dose series, or declination (declinations valid for 1 year)
- Varicella - positive titer, vaccines, documented history, or declination (declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, Maternity, NICU)
- Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination (most recent) or facility-specific declination required
- TB testing: Two PPDs (one within 90 days, one within 1 year) or QuantiFERON/T-Spot within 90 days; positive TB requires chest x-ray and TB questionnaire
- Other health documents: TB questionnaire required for all candidates

- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- MA Statewide iCORI Release (updated annually)
