Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist

Location: Ashtabula, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 23 weeks (non-negotiable)


Work Schedule

  • Shift: 3 shifts of 8 hours each (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
  • Every other weekend with days off around the weekend worked
  • No call required

Experience & Licensing Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology (highest required)
  • Must have ARRT(R) certification
  • Ohio state license required prior to start

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Radiology exams and Fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages
  • Maintain patient safety throughout procedures

Certifications Required

  • ARRT(R) certification
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Instructor or Provider; RQI acceptable)
  • Ohio State License (MRI Techs specifically require Ohio license)
  • Additional certifications may be required depending on unit or specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) but are not mandatory for this role

Background & Compliance Requirements

  • Background check required prior to start, including a 7-year FCRA-compliant search
  • Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
  • FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start, updated annually
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to safely perform job functions
  • Drug screening (standard 10-panel) within 12 months of start, updated annually

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers required
