Job Description
- Position floats between units based on needs, including multiple facilities in the region.
- On-call required on weekdays and weekends; weekends not required regularly.
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
- Cath Lab experience is required.
- Vehicle required for assignment due to floating between facilities.
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital.
- Charting system: Epic.
- Parking: No fee.
- Scrub color: Any color allowed; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with recent experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Cath Lab nursing experience.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via the employer’s LMS system.
- Must acknowledge and comply with floating policy; may be required to float to other facilities within reasonable distance.
- Passport-style badge photo required for facility access.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel between facilities.
Work Environment & Other Details
- Floating may include facilities in multiple cities within the region.
- Floating to certain locations may include additional incentives and accommodations (e.g., hotel for consecutive shifts).
- No 48-hour shifts approved.
- No block schedules required.
