Registered Nurse - PACU (Pediatric Recovery Room Experience)

Location: Madera, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Pediatric recovery room experience required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care, with recent experience within the last year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience.

Facility Specific Requirements

• Candidate must review and sign the Orientation Guide and Confidentiality Agreement.
• Complete Orientation Guide Post Test prior to start.
• Review facility policies including Dress and Grooming Standards, Harassment-Free Workplace, Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy, and Parking Information.
• Submit Medical or Religious Influenza Exemption Request Form if applicable.
• Respirator clearance form or equivalent required (updated annually for direct placements, every 2 years for subcontractors).
• Facility provides a medication test study guide to review prior to start.

Additional Notes

• Physical exam required only for direct placements (within 1 year of start).
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
