Cardiac Tele

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
13-week assignment.
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:45–07:15.
36 or 48 hours can be offered.
Floating is required.
Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts.
Ratio: 1:6.
Average daily census: 23.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
IV insertion skills
Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
EKG testing required prior to start
RTO after booking is not allowed

Preferred Qualifications

Step-down experience.

Unit Details

Cardiac Tele unit.
Cardiac drips.
No titrating for blood pressure.
Tele/Stepdown/IMC nurses needed that can handle the same ratios as other units.
No charge nurses on the unit.
Teamwork is a must.

Orientation

3-day orientation.
First day is EPIC training; the next two days are on the unit.

Scrubs

Navy or white.
