Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend required, holidays as needed, no on-call requirement, floating required if needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
• Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovations in care delivery
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Telemetry Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Care planning skills
