CT Technician Travel Job – California, Bakersfield
Job Summary
Seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT scans with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating CT equipment, assisting with contrast media administration, ensuring radiation safety compliance, and maintaining equipment and records. The role involves working with patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour shifts, evenings and nights
- Schedule: Rotating days of the week including weekends and holidays
- Hours per week: 40
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent level of education, or completion of a one-year formal computed tomography training program
- 13 weeks contract
