Schedule

• 3 x 12 shifts
• 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No holiday requirement
• No on-call requirement
• Floating required

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• 2 years of Behavioral Health experience
• Behavioral Health experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Float pool experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provides individualized patient care through assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with the treatment team and participates in treatment planning conferences
• Administers medications and treatments according to policy and procedure
• Completes admission assessments and documents patient information accurately
• Provides patient and family education
• Participates in quality improvement activities
• Maintains a safe patient care environment and follows safety procedures
• Supports orientation of new or transfer staff and students
• Plans and conducts nursing psycho-educational groups

Additional Notes

• May be assigned to any inpatient unit as needed
• Must be able to care for adolescent, adult, and older adult patients
• Computer literacy is required
• EPIC experience is required
