Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
• 1 or more years of echocardiogram experience
• BLS
• RDCS or RCS or ACS or RCCS
• Completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program
• Cardiac Sonographer experience

Education

• Accredited associate’s degree in sonography, radiology, or a related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program

Job Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care
• Assist with post-procedure transport as needed
• Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and quality-check equipment
• Generate ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular structures
• Train and educate staff as needed
• Monitor and record patient information, maintain report storage and data systems, and prepare reports
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use and between procedures
