Job Overview

• Provide competent nursing care in the Cath Lab setting, supporting patient care delivery and the healthcare team.
• Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Demonstrate professional responsibility, knowledge of policies, and identify areas for clinical growth.
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and patient identification procedures.
• Use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Understand conditions, procedures, and equipment related to surgical patients; individualize care based on procedure and anesthesia type.
• Provide pre-operative and postoperative patient education and assessments.
• Support timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Cath Lab
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • RN License (Required)
  • BLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
