Clinical Lab Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel (Clinical-Allied)
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
• Participate in operational support to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
• Conduct testing in specialized laboratories using manual techniques or automated sophisticated instrumentation.
• Responsibilities include instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test accuracy, assisting with result interpretation, and operational support.
• Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
• May work with minimal supervision and assist with specimen collection.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards is required.

• Capable of multitasking and performing in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with others.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling adjustments including off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend assignments.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science.
