Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist (2-5 years experience)

Job Description

  • Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations
  • Provide technical assistance to Radiologists
  • Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment
  • Prepare and examine patients according to departmental procedures
  • Operate, adjust, clean, and make minor repairs to ultrasound equipment
  • Ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel
  • Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians' workstations
  • Schedule examinations and may coordinate patient transportation
  • Perform other related duties as required

Contract Length

  • Approximately 9 weeks (61 days rounded to nearest week)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of office and administrative practices
  • Skilled in use of personal computers and software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion
