Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist (2-5 years experience)
Location: New York, NY

Job Description
- Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations
- Provide technical assistance to Radiologists
- Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment
- Prepare and examine patients according to departmental procedures
- Operate, adjust, clean, and make minor repairs to ultrasound equipment
- Ensure adequate supplies are available
- Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel
- Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians' workstations
- Schedule examinations and may coordinate patient transportation
- Perform other related duties as required
Contract Length
- Approximately 9 weeks (61 days rounded to nearest week)
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of office and administrative practices
- Skilled in use of personal computers and software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion
