Job Opportunity: Tele Tech/EKG (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend Coverage: 3 out of 6 weekends plus holiday rotation
• On Call/Call Back: None required
• Float Requirements: None
• Primary Work Setting: Centralized Tele Monitoring (onsite + offsite monitoring across 4 sites)
• Patient Load: Average 40 patients per shift
• Charting System: EPIC required

Responsibilities

• Watch and interpret cardiac telemetry using GE CareScapes system
• Communicate pertinent patient information to Registered Nurses based on observations and data
• Must be able to pass an EKG test within 3 days of an accepted offer

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute hospital experience reading telemetry
• Central monitoring experience for remote locations is required
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred (at least 1 travel contract)
• Certified Tele Tech preferred
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility at the time of hire

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, which count toward unbillable hours; call back pay applies if called in
