Pharmacist Travel Job – Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Position Details

• Job Title: Pharmacist

• Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with some flexibility
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work Schedule:

  • Inpatient pharmacy hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM weekdays, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM weekends/holidays
  • Weekend coverage: every 4th weekend
  • Holiday coverage: every 4th holiday

Job Description

• Work in a central inpatient pharmacy supporting inpatient and outpatient IVs, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Manage multiple concurrent responsibilities including verifying orders in Epic, checking technician work, and answering pharmacist phone calls
• Patient populations include inpatient and outpatient surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and Emergency Department
• Typical inpatient census: 30-40 patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist License
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Epic electronic health record experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (radius rule)
• No float requirements, on-call, or call-back duties expected
• Dress code: Business casual, no lab coats required
• During flu season, flu and COVID vaccination is required or mask must be worn at all times per facility policy
• Travelers may be eligible for up to 36 hours of unbillable low census hours during the contract
• Call-back pay applies if called back to the facility, with a minimum of 2 hours pay
