Registered Nurse - Step Down / Progressive Care

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 48

Job Description

Work in a medical step-down unit with 16-20 beds
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Patient conditions include: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, Encephalopathy

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty
ACLS and BLS certification required

Notes

This is a short-term contract position
Experience with progressive care or intermediate care patients preferred
