CT Tech

Location: Aventura, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Unit Size: 18 beds, 8 staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS

Unit Details

• Staff mix: Radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs
• Day shift: Director, radiologist, 6-7 techs
• Night shift: Charge RN, on-call team, 3-4 techs (varies with volume)
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Typical procedures: CT scans, MRI, body scans, X-rays

Work Style Fit

• Communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multitask and work with physicians, radiologists, and patients

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
