Description
CT Tech
Location: Aventura, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Unit Size: 18 beds, 8 staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS
Unit Details
- Staff mix: Radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs
- Day shift: Director, radiologist, 6-7 techs
- Night shift: Charge RN, on-call team, 3-4 techs (varies with volume)
- Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient stability
- Equipment: All GE equipment, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
- Typical procedures: CT scans, MRI, body scans, X-rays
Work Style Fit
- Communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to multitask and work with physicians, radiologists, and patients
Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs
