LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel RN role in Aurora, Colorado.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • 13-week contract.
  • Patient ratio: 1:6.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Long Term Acute Care (1 year of experience)
  • Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with tracheostomy care
  • Experience with ventilator management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wound care experience.

Role Details

  • Provides care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for shift accountability, clinical judgment, leadership, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel.
