Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Missouri
• LPN / LVN (2 years of experience)
• LPN / LVN experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• IV Certification
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Driver's License
• Med Surg experience

Compliance / Health Requirements

• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for travelers from November 1 to April 1
• Declinations are not accepted

Unit / Patient Care

• 29-bed unit
• Typical patient population includes post-op, trauma, and high-acuity medical patients
• Patient ratio: 1:5/6

Work Conditions

• Standing and walking most of the time
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
• May require differing schedules, shifts, days, or work frequency based on patient care needs
• High risk of exposure to blood and body fluids
• May require pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs; pinching up to 15 lbs; and minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Dress Code

• Black scrubs
• Attire must meet facility standards

Scheduling Notes

• Flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 must be listed on the submission form
• Block scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements
• RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request per assignment
