Surgical Technician
Location
- Reno, Nevada
Contract
- Travel assignment
- 13 weeks
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 2 call shifts per month
Schedule
- 12-hour and 8-hour shifts
- May include weekends, holidays, and additional call shifts
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- 2 years of experience in OR (Operating Room)
- 2 years of experience in Trauma
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical patient care in the operating room under supervision
- Maintain sterility of the surgical field
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments
- Assist with scrub duties and room turnover
- Care for surgical instruments and equipment after procedures
Additional Notes
- May be required to float within competency level
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
