Job Description

• Must have Epic experience.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Candidates must be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in multiple critical care environments, including:

  • Neuro/Trauma SICU
  • MICU
  • CPS/VICU
  • CCU
  • Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
  • ICU/PACU patients in the ED awaiting bed placement
• Experience floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired.
• Level I trauma center experience is preferred.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.

Work Schedule

• Approximately 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of float experience, including float experience within the last year
• Experience in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), including Neuro ICU and Neuro Trauma experience
• Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Experience in Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
