Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Muskogee, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintaining airways and ventilator management
• Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conducting pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Requirements

• Certification: Must have NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience with ventilator management, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy care, endotracheal (ET) tube management, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
